Project START (Students, Teachers, and Researchers Teach) Science! is an initiative in which students from Yeshiva University, accompanied by professors from Yeshiva University, design and implement science curricular modules in a local public school.

The pilot program, started in the Spring 2011 semester, consisted of 7 courses in the disciplines of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Engineering, and was taught primarily at an eighth grade class at I.S. 143. We are now in our second year and Project START! is currently taking place in three fourth grade classes, one sixth grade class and one seventh grade class.
